Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 Raisman was awarded gold for team events and also the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. She won the gold in the team event at the 2016 Olympics and allowed her to become the Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, she took home silver medals in individual all-around, and floor exercises. In the three years between her Olympic Games she was off. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team in two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. She is a fan of the floor exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing one in the fashion industry and would like to expand her famous line of leotards as well as socks in the future. The book she is working on is named Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
